Dublin, June 2021 – Logicalis Ireland, the IT Solutions and Managed Services provider, today announces that it has been awarded 4-Star Partner Status by Check Point Software Technologies, a leading provider of cybersecurity solutions globally.
The Check Point Partner Program enables greater collaboration for partners and gives them more access to expert resources. In turn, this means they can deliver a broader security offering and enhanced support for customers. As a 4-Star channel partner, Logicalis Ireland will be able to significantly expand its Irish cloud security customer base and efficiently manage cybersecurity risks.
This new achievement will further strengthen the partnership between Logicalis Ireland and Check Point Software. The two are already delivering a greater level of agility, visibility, and compliance for customers in terms of their cloud infrastructure through Logicalis′ LogiGuard platform.
With Check Point Infinity as one of the key technologies powering this AI-enabled integrated cloud-hosted security platform, LogiGuard provides a clear, centralised interface to organisations, which enables them to view and manage the multiple functions of security across their IT environment.
Check Point Infinity is the only fully consolidated cybersecurity architecture that protects businesses and their IT infrastructure against mega cyber-attacks across all networks, endpoint, cloud and mobile, thus distinguishing LogiGuard from other services.
Furthermore, by joining in as a partner in the Stars Program, Logicalis Ireland will gain access to exclusive channel partner resources from Check Point. This will help Logicalis Ireland accelerate training for and deepen the expertise of their sales and technical teams. In fact, the company recently became the first partner in Ireland to be awarded a Check Point Certified Security Master (CSSM) Elite accreditation which was given to its Chief Security Technologist, Andrzej Melnarowicz.
As well as being awarded 4-Star Partner Status and the CCSM Elite accreditation, Logicalis Ireland also recently collected awards for Cloud Partner of the Year and Cloud Project of the Year at the Check Point Irish Partner Awards Gala, hosted on the 17th of June.
The Cloud Project of the Year celebrates the company’s excellence and innovation in the scope of cloud-based “solutions-as-a-service” incorporating security solutions, while Cloud Partner of the Year award recognises its go-to-market strategy and messaging.
Simon Sharkey, Cloud and Hybrid IT Practice Lead, Logicalis Ireland, said: “We are very honoured to have been promoted to a 4-Star Partner Status by Check Point and recognised at their recent partner awards. This is a step forward in communicating to our customers and partners about our commitment towards providing the best-in-class cloud cybersecurity solutions.
“As many organisations migrate to the cloud in this era of remote working, it is critical to ensure the security of IT systems. This program also benefits our technical and sales staff as they can stay updated on the latest solutions defining the industry and help to support business growth.”
Hugh McGauran, Country Manager for Ireland, Check Point Software Technologies, said: “Check Point Software has always been at the forefront of safeguarding company systems, protecting valuable data and supporting business growth.
